The Museum of Discovery Adds an Interactive Exhibit to Their Repertoire with Kid Inventor

No weekend is complete without a trip to the Museum of Discovery! Founded in 1927, The Museum of Discovery is Arkansas’s premier science and technology center, and our mission to ignite and fuel a passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through dynamic, interactive experiences. We are inviting families to join us on November 23rd for our latest exhibit, Kid Inventor.

Kid Inventor is an interactive, fully hands-on exhibit that will broaden minds through problem-solving, open-ended exploration and unending creativity.

The design area allows your world-changing ideas to be sketched and shaped out. The build area is where your invention comes to fruition—the car, a plane, a monster, an anything—if you can imagine it, you can build it with a nearly endless supply of building materials of all shapes and sizes! Then move to the test area where you can test your design in a wind tube, an airstream table, or down a timed race track. Inventors must employ technology, so be sure to visit Tech Corner!

Brush up on your animation skills, practice coding, and try your hand at sound mixing and engineering. Kid Inventor offers endless fun and limitless possibility to fully immerse yourself in the engineering design process, you will surely bring out your inner da Vinci, Tesla, or Jobs. Kid Inventor will be on display until January 5, 2020. General admission starts at $8 and is available online at or in person at the Museum of Discovery.
