Keeping theatre alive in Little Rock, The Arkansas Arts Center is an art museum and active center for the visual and performing arts. Featuring a world-class international collection of art, live theatre productions, family programs, and more, the Arkansas Arts Center offers something for everyone. This weekend, Arkansas Arts Center is proud to present the production of Hobbit!
A pleasing ditty to be sure, but to a homebody hobbit like Bilbo Baggins it sounds alarmingly like an adventure, and adventures are nasty, disturbing, uncomfortable things that make you late for dinner. Resist as he might, however, the little hobbit is soon swept away—a reluctant hero on the adventure of his lifetime. In the company of thirteen rough and tumble dwarves and one cryptic wizard, Bilbo braves danger at every turn on this exciting quest for dragon’s gold.
Arkansas Arts Center programs are supported in part by: the City of Little Rock; The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau; The City of North Little Rock and the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Mister Bilbo Baggins cordially invites you to travel with him “There and Back Again” in this new adaptation of Tolkien’s classic tale, so come and join the quest. General Admission starts are $12.50 and tickets may be purchased online at https://www.arkansasartscenter.org. There’s a partner’s share of treasure waiting just for you!
