Check it out for yourself this Saturday, December 14th, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

This award-winning community effort winds its way across the entire metropolitan area, connecting 38 parks, six museums and 5,000+ acres of federal, state and local parkland.  Thousands of hikers, cyclists, skaters, joggers, and other outdoor recreation enthusiasts flock to the trail to explore its diversity of habitats, landscapes, and activities. Expansive and of primarily flat-terrain, the trail offers recreational opportunities for people of all ages, fitness levels, interests and health conditions.

The Arkansas River Trail System offers a diverse assortment of pathways and routes, ideal for cyclists looking to conquer new challenges or cruise leisurely with friends. The trail offers excursions for Arkansas cycling enthusiasts of all sorts. Riders can cruise over the elevated Junction Bridge and take in the sights of the Arkansas River, or meander their way to Two Rivers Park, 1,000 acres of wooded wetlands and open spaces. Biking in Arkansas is at its best on the expansive river trail.

Those looking for bike trails in Arkansas will find three specific routes designed for cyclists: 16 miles of the original Arkansas River Trail, a 34-mile route to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, and an 88.5-mile Grand Loop.
